Yesterday Jan 6, I presume a lot of people woke up on the wrong side of the bed or had their monthly's, either way, I was not having it. So I'm not going to say the college name because they have yet to return my phone call. Now my personal beliefs are just that, MINE. So I refuse to get this MANDATED unproven vaccine. Hey, I am pro-vaccine, but when it has been PROVEN to protect and not mutated into other more dangerous forms of said vaccine that can be spread and has been proven not only by the FDA but allowed by the CDC then and only then I will let my children in MY care comply with the COVID vaccine. So yesterday upon returning to ONLINE school my child had a meeting to obtain his new classes. Now let me go a little off base with this, I go to online school, UOP, at no point and time did they ever dismiss me or say I should get the vaccine or I would not get any of my classes online. Back to my child. So the school knows that I told my school my belief, yes he is 18 and considered a legal adult, but when he like me does feel that the vaccine can cause more harm than good to his body, he gets me involved. Going off track again just trying to get all my thoughts out, what does a mama bear do when someone is putting their cub's LIFE at risk? Who is the true protector of the lions? The KING or the QUEEN aka LIONESSES. So I called the school and pressed 0 to get the operator. I explained why was my child being mandated to take a meningitis vaccine when he is going to school online and in my care. You're probably saying what does one have to do with the other how do we go from COVID to meningitis? I was wondering that myself as well. To me, this is all speculation at this point no definitive proof, yet. So since I told my child he can not take the covid vaccine and he was well within his medical rights and had doctor's appointments at that time he was told he could take online courses for one semester. No problem with the first semester right, you still with me? So they make an appointment via zoom with him on Jan 4 no reason as to why it was canceled so he get an email later on in the day stating sorry I missed our meeting but I was out of the office yesterday can we reschedule for tomorrow Jan 5, my son agrees and is given a 3 pm appointment. He has his meeting but comes out of the room stunned by what he was just told. He said mom just look for yourself. I go and I see and it states, the schedule is on hold due to the meningitis vaccine. I have been in the medical field for years doing various just such as but not limited to EMS, CMA, OMRDD, HHA and currently taking online courses for medical billing (where I can stay home and be safe). It clearly states meningitis is airborne and can only be spread through someone cough or sneeze, wait what my child is at home will never make it to college for anything will receive upon completion his BA degrees sent to my home will not be in contact or any other students. So why are you guys denying him an education? I will wait.
