Dear Lupus 2/25/21

Dear Lupus,

You came into my life and snuck in like a thief in the night. You started taking my childhood away from me, unbeknownst to me. You have tried to take my life away, on more than one occasion, literally. But like a warrior, I fought to keep you at arm's length so I can continue on with my life with my kids by my side. You DO NOT dictate how I live it is your turn to take a backseat because I have a life to live.
