A prayer to be true to myself

Lord, thank you for my life.

You created me before anyone else knew I existed.

You formed me and knit me together to be a unique creation in the world.

May I live my life being true to you and true to whom you made me to be.

I need to only be myself, not be anyone else.

Help me, Lord, and myself, as I live my life as you call me to live it-

as a unique and beloved child of yours. May I remember that I am wonderfully made- just as I am.

May I strive to be closer to you in my life and be true to whom you created me to be.

May I enjoy the blessing of heaven upon my death and live with you forever in heaven. Amen.
